Shoots and roots growing
Shoots growing on hop root stock. 7 cm in one week. Roots showing too.

Why are the roots exposed? Did you root the rhizomes first, in a container of water? Or is that a picture of how you received the rhizome with roots (which is normal), but with a shoot already as large as is shown (it's really a 'bine' at that point)? Just curious. I'd also like to invite you to join my Grow-Hops Yahoo Group which currently has 2,600 members and which is dedicated primarily to discussion and info about growing hops, plus we have a rhizome exchange.
